The Wild Gorges Adventure Program offers you the full range of whitewater experiences, moving from easy to exciting to challenging! You also get to pick your own special outdoor adventures: choose full-day or half-day formats of Rock Climbing, Mountain Biking, Horseback Riding or Fishing, or take the day off and relax by the pool!

Upper New River

On Monday, you'll get the perfect introduction to whitewater rafting. Paddle the gentle and scenic Upper New in inflatable kayaks or ducks. You'll enjoy small, playful waves and have lots of time to swim, play, and relax.

Mountain Biking

Ride with professional guides through excellent mountain biking terrain, ranging from easy, rolling hills to challenging single track. Your guide will introduce you to the sport of mountain biking and offer helpful pointers for a truly enjoyable riding experience. Then get ready to have a fabulous time exploring some of the most beautiful and interesting areas in West Virginia. Tuesday option.

Rock Climbing

Professional guides will introduce you to the basics of climbing and rappelling in the majestic New River Gorge. Breathtaking views and thousands of climbing routes make this one of the best rock climbing areas in the East, perfect for climbers of all abilities. Experience the exhilaration of success as you challenge yourself! This is a fun experience that builds confidence and skills in a learning atmosphere. Tuesday option.

Middle Gauley River

On Wednesday, raise the adventure a notch by running a section of the world-famous Gauley River. Plenty of laughs and whitewater fun wait for you as you paddle down the cool waters of the Middle Gauley in an inflatable kayak or raft.

ATV Rentals

Enjoy guided and unguided ATV tours in the New River Gorge area. Trail riding on the famous Hatfield and McCoy Trails. Tours for beginners and experienced riders available.Thursday option.

Horseback Riding

Ride with experienced wranglers in gorgeous New River Country. Your professional guide will introduce you to your horse and "show you the ropes." Then get back in touch with the outdoors while exploring the West Virginia countryside at a relaxed pace through wooded trails and past scenic vistas and waterfalls. Thursday option.

Lower New River

On Friday, finish your vacation with a bang, with our most popular river trip. Enjoy roller coaster waves and exciting rapids like The Keeneys and Double Z as you wind your way down this ancient river valley. Along the way, there is plenty of time to swim and play.
